What it reads

The check starts at your domain’s homepage. It reads public content and supporting files; it does not crawl every page or sign in to your website.

Your homepage
Reachability, text available without JavaScript, page title and description, headings, contact details and structured business information.
robots.txt
The public rules for crawler access, including search crawlers used by AI assistants. These rules do not prove that a crawler has visited.
llms.txt
Whether a public file is present to help describe the website. Its presence does not guarantee that an assistant uses it.
A same-site sitemap
Whether a sitemap can be found and read on the same website. This is a technical discovery check, not an audit of every URL in the sitemap.

From a question to a useful report

Ask. Read.
Decide what to fix.

In a host that supports the connected plugin, ask it to check a public website or open the website check form.

“Check my website’s crawler access and show the most useful fixes.”

Connection and availability depend on your host. This page describes the plugin; it does not announce an approved public directory listing.

  1. Give it a public website address

You can add what the business does as optional context. The check uses the domain homepage, even when you supply a deeper page.

  2. Review the evidence

The report records the checked address and time, groups the technical findings, and explains what passed, needs attention or could not be checked.

  3. Choose your next changes

Read the suggested fixes and review them before changing your site. The plugin does not edit or publish your website. You can ask it to reopen a saved report by its report ID while that report remains available.

Technical evidence.
No ranking promises.

The plugin does not ask AI assistants to recommend your business. It does not measure rankings, mentions, traffic or sales, and it cannot guarantee any of them.

Results describe what the checker observed at the time of the check. A website’s host can block requests beyond what robots.txt reveals. A failed request may need investigation rather than a change to your website.

Use public website addresses and avoid including private information in the optional context. See the privacy policy for how checks and reports are handled.
